Adrian Pepe is a Honduran-born fiber artist based in Beirut, Lebanon, whose
work explores the intersection of material, culture, and nature through textilebased
practices. Drawing on Levantine craft traditions and collaborating with
regional artisans, he revives ancestral techniques and integrates them into
contemporary forms. His recent focus is on the wool of the fat-tailed Awassi
sheep, transforming it through spinning, embroidery, and felting into objects that
reflect themes of biocentrism and trans-corporeality. With degrees in Fine Arts
and Sustainable Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Pepe has
exhibited internationally and contributed to the field as Creative Director at Bokja
Design and a professor at ALBA. His practice fosters a reconnection with primal
processes, inviting reflection on our material and cultural entanglements.
